South Shields Annie's Guest House

This family-run, relaxed and friendly B&B is a few minutes' walk from parks, beaches, shopping areas, restaurants, nightlife and local transport links including South Shields Metro Station.

Newcastle Central is a 20-minute drive or train journey away. The A1, A19 and Tyne Tunnel are a 10-minute drive away. There is free car parking right outside and secure cycle parking is available.

All rooms at Annie's Guest House have memory-foam mattresses, double-glazed windows with black-out blinds, and free Wi-Fi. Guests can also make use of a flat-screen, satellite TV and tea and coffee-making facilities.

A full English breakfast is served from 06:30 every day, freshly cooked to order. Special diets can be catered for, and guests can use the fridge and microwave in Annie's dining room.

Single-sex party groups cannot be accommodated (4 people maximum).

Don't worry about parking either free parking is available right outside Annie's!!

Transport

By Car:
- Annie's Guest House is on the A194 (Beach Road) leading from South Shields town centre to the coast.
- The A194 is signposted just before you reach Gateshead and Newcastle (Northbound) on all major routes into the North East.
- Southbound, take the A19 Tyne Tunnel and follow the A194 (Beach Road).

From South Shields Bus Station:
Head east onto King Street, the main shopping area. At the end of the street there is a mini- roundabout. Turn right here then take your first left onto Beach Road.

By Metro (train):
From Sunderland, Newcastle city centre and Newcastle airport:
Take the South Shields (yellow) Metro line east to the South Shields stop. As you exit the station, head east onto King Street, the main shopping area. At the end of the street there is a mini- roundabout. Turn right here then take your first left onto Beach Road.
