Hotel Arrow Mill Hotel & Restaurant description

Set in 60 acres of beautiful, peaceful landscaped grounds, in the heart of rural Warwickshire, the hotel offers comfortable accommodation in a charming, lovingly restored former mill.

The immaculately kept grounds provide wonderful idyllic surroundings for a restful, relaxing and restorative break. You can enjoy pleasant walks among the abundant wildlife and through the tranquil grounds or fish in the River Arrow or in the on-site lake.

This 3-star property has been carefully preserved and sensitively restored. Today, the Arrow Mill Hotel offers excellent food and charming accommodation in a historic building rich in beautiful original features, such as ancient wooden beams.

The hotel is directly opposite Ragley Hall country estate and conveniently located within easy reach of junction 15 of the M40 motorway. Stratford-upon-Avon is nearby and attractive Georgian Warwick is also within easy reach.

Hotel Information

The Arrow Mill was originally a working mill and is mentioned in the Domesday Book, when it was valued at 3 shillings and 6 pence (17.5p). Flour was made here until the late 1800s and then animal feeds were milled on the site right up until 1964. There were working mills almost every mile along the River Arrow many years ago, but most have become houses, housing estates or sadly, just simply vanished.

Surrounding Area

The hotel's peaceful and yet convenient location makes it a great base from which to explore the surrounding area. With the hotel as a comfortable and relaxing haven, you can explore Georgian Warwick and its world-famous medieval castle, as well as Royal Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon and the Cotswolds.

Other places of interest in the region include Upton House and Gardens, Stoneleigh Abbey, Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, The Royal Shakespeare Company, Ragley Hall, Packwood House, Mary Arden's House and Country Museum, Hidcote Manor Garden, Hatton Country World, Farnborough Hall, Coughton Hall, Charlcote Park and Anne Hathaway?s House.
