Transport
By Bus:
Alternatively, guests can also reach Avalon via the number 7 Village Link bus (VL7). The bus leaves from Stansted Airport coach station from 07:30 to 19:30. The closest stop to the house is Memorial Hall, Elsenham. Please check with the driver.
By Train:
You can also catch a train to Elsenham. Taxis are readily available from just outside the airport.
Restaurants
A continental style breakfast (self service) from 03:45 ? 10:00 with tea, coffee, fruit juice, jams, marmalades, cheese, ham and a selection of cereals with milk. We provide Gluten free breakfast on request.
For those who need to leave before 07:00, a take-away early starter breakfast is available.
The house is close to a village pub, The Crown. The pub offers tasty food, made with locally sourced produce, at reasonable prices. Guests staying at Avalon receive a free drink with their meals. Alternatively, the local takeaway gives guests a 20% discount.

Please note that the hotel does not have a 24-hour front desk, and a GBP 10 fee will be charged for early check-ins and late check-outs.
Please note that evening airport transfers begin at 16:00 and finish at 22:00, the last pickup from the airport is 21:50. Morning transfers begin at 04:00 and finish at 11:00. Guests arriving within the transfer times are asked to contact the property on +44 (0) 7940 900 018. Guests will then be collected from the Orange car park, row A.
Please note that transfers arrive on the hour and cost GBP 3 per person per trip, plus parking fees when applicable.
Only one attempt will be made to collect guests from the pick-up point (Orange Car Park Row A).
Transfers to and from Elsenham Station are free. Please note that transfers are subject to availability, and must be arranged once guests have arrived at the pick-up point. Please use the contact details found on the booking confirmation to contact the hotel.
Guests arriving after 18:00 are kindly requested to inform the hotel in advance. Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation.
Guests are requested to inform the property of their estimated time of arrival. This can be noted in the Special Request box on booking.
