Transport

From the m6, leave at junction 40 and follow the a66 to Keswick. From there follow the Borrowdale sign and road number b5289. After four miles turn right at the sign for Grange over the double hump-back bridge. The hotel is situated a quarter of a mile through the village of Grange on the right.

The Restaurant at The Borrowdale Gates Hotel, has one of the most spectacular views in the country. Serving a fusion of French and British/Lakeland cuisine, the 2 rosettes awarded by the aa are deserved. Service with a smile and a fabulous 100 bin wine list will round your meal off nicely.
