Brook Barn is a wonderful, relaxing hideaway in over an acre of gardens. The gardens include an orchard, a wild flower meadow and a beautiful chalk stream. The Mediterranean garden features a luxurious hot tub.
The rooms are beautifully but simply decorated and extremely comfortable with Egyptian cotton bed linen and towels, TVs with Freeview or Sky satellite channels and CD/DVD players.

Hotel InformationBrook Barn is situated on the outskirts of a small, Oxfordshire village, 25 minutes from Oxford, 30 minutes from the Cotswolds and just over an hour from Bath, Cheltenham and London.
Up until a few years ago, the guest House was two barns, incorporating stables, a bullpen and a hayloft. The barns have now been converted into a stunning family home retaining many of the original beams.
The sitting room has a double-height ceiling with large French windows that open up onto the Mediterranean garden on one side and out to Letcombe Brook on the other. In the summer, with all the doors open, the sitting room becomes part of the garden. Equally inviting in winter, the huge fireplace and the under-floor heating make it a wonderfully cosy room in which to sit and relax.
The library is on the first floor and looks out over the sitting room. It is a fabulous area where you can hide yourself away to read magazines, the papers or a good book.
Brook Barn has a games room and an office for guests' use, with a fax machine, a printer, a copier/scanner and a computer.
The gardens have the stunning Letcombe Brook running through them, with benches and chairs thoughtfully positioned for guests to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the Oxfordshire countryside. For those who want to be more energetic there are various outdoor activities on offer including a walk along The Ridgeway, which is nearby. This charming room can be set up with 2 twin single beds or one super-king-size bed. The beds have luxurious Egyptian cotton bed linen and cotton, padded headboards. The room retains its original wood-beamed ceiling and has oak floorboards, warmed by the under-floor heating. The lovely large French doors lead to the private outdoor seating area.
The Brook has a desk/dressing table, a TV with Freeview digital channels and a comfortable armchair.
There is ample space for you to enjoy breakfast or dinner in your room.
The Brook has a separate but private bathroom with a bidet. Candles are provided, as are luxurious toiletries and bathroom products for that added touch of luxury or a little well-earned indulgence. Book this room
- The Stable

The smallest of the 3 rooms, The Stable is delightful. The room has French doors opening out onto the Mediterranean garden, with the hot tub. You can enjoy a delicious breakfast or dinner, sitting on the terrace outside your room, with the water feature trickling down through the garden, bubbling softly in the background. In truth, this may be the smallest room, but it may well be the most romantic.
Simply but beautifully decorated, the room has under-floor heating and a beautiful original wood-beamed ceiling. The room has a double bed with a pretty, padded headboard and a generous duvet covered in a crisp Egyptian cotton cover. The room has a very comfortable armchair, a dressing table, a wardrobe and a TV with Freeview digital channels.
The en suite shower room has a shaver point, a heated towel rail and a shower that is a lovely size. Book this room

The Hayloft Suite is on the first floor with stunning views over Letcombe Brook, the croquet lawn and wild flower meadow. You can enjoy breakfast or dinner sitting at the double French windows, looking down onto the brook.
The suite has its own private sitting room with comfortable sofas. This luxurious suite has wood beams and a sloping ceiling, with a wood-burning stove for those chilly evenings.
The sitting room leads to a dressing area that has a large dressing table, which can double as a desk. There is plenty of drawer and wardrobe space.
The bedroom leads on from the dressing room. This also has a French window. There is a king-size bed with a generous, Egyptian cotton-covered duvet.

The Garden Room is on the ground floor and has French windows leading onto the garden and Letcombe Brook. It has a patio table and chairs where you could have breakfast or dinner.
