This B&B guest house is next to the 5 locks of the Caledonian Canal, walking distance from Fort Augustus. The village is part of the Great Glen Way.

Caledonian House was originally built in the 1860s and was used as Campbell's Tea Room in the 1900s. It has a good location for exploring the sights of the Highlands, including Loch Ness and the islands of Syke, Mull, Iona and Rhum.

There are plenty of outdoor activities and spectacular views for walkers. Caledonian House offers fishing trips and mountain-bike hire.

Transport

From the South:
A82 Fort William to Fort Augustus, Upon reaching the village you will past the Lovat Arms Hotel on the left, take the next left into Station Road, we are situated on the right opposite the Bank of Scotland.

From the North:
A82 Inverness to Fort Augustus. Upon reaching the village, you will pass the Gulf Petrol Station on the right. Travel over the stone bridge, then over the canal swing bridge. Take the second turn on right into Station Road. We are situated on the right opposite the Bank of Scotland.
