Cherry Garth is a non-smoking house situated in Ambleside at the Heart of the English Lake District. We are less than five minutes walk from both the centre of Ambleside and Lake Windermere.
Guests benefit from a sunny south westerly aspect with wonderful views over the surrounding Lakeland fells. We have 12 en-suite bedrooms including four-poster, deluxe and family sized rooms. The landscaped garden features level lawns, attractive sitting areas, an ornamental pond and a wide variety of mature flowering shrubs and bushes.

Windermere is our nearest local railway station. The nearest mainline station is Oxenholme Lake District. Outside Windermere station is a taxi rank or, alternatively, a regular Stagecoach bus service (No.s 555 and 556) operates.

Cancellation Terms
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 10 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged GBP 10.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.
