Burn's Cottage (5Km) - Birth place of Scotland's national poet Robert Burn's. Nearby is a centre which is dedicated to his works.
Blairquhan Castle (16Km) - A lived in castle which is home to Mr Hunter-Blair. Arrangments can be made for small groups to go for morning coffee and veiw th castle and the wonderful gardens and grounds.
Culzean Castle (16Km) - Magnificent castle built high on the cliffs beside the sea. The grounds are walks are quite breathtaking even in winter.

From the town centre:
- Turn right at the bottom of Miller Road.
- Take the 3rd left into Wellington Square and the first right.
- After 200 metres you will see Dunlay House.
