The pool includes a hot tub and is open from 08:00 to 21:00 daily, and is free to all residents of the hotel. Swimming towels are supplied by the hotel and are available at reception.
The walled gardens are located to the rear of the hotel, and you can just sit there on warm summer evenings with a chilled bottle of wine.

Canterbury Tours: The Canterbury Tales is a stunning reconstruction of Chaucer?s 14th Century England. Canterbury river tours offer a fascinating perspective and insight into Canterbury's hidden past. Tours of the cathedral are also available.
Canterbury World Heritage Site: Including Canterbury Cathedral and Precinct, St Augustine?s Abbey and St Martin's Church. All have great historical importance to Christianity, and offer some interesting visitor attractions.
Canterbury Green Heritage: The Dane John Gardens, where you can stroll along the city walls which border one side of the gardens, have recently won awards for excellence. The Westgate Gardens and Stour River are lovely riverside gardens with superb floral displays and views of the Medieval Westgate towers.

Take the London underground tube to London Victoria train station, then a train to Canterbury East. The hotel is a short taxi ride away.
From Gatwick:
Take the Gatwick express train to London Victoria train station, then continue as above.
From the Eurotunnel - Ashford International:
Take the train from Ashford to Canterbury West, then a short taxi ride to the hotel.
By Car:
From Ashford:
- Take the A28 towards Canterbury.
- On approaching Canterbury, follow signs for City Centre.
- At the St. George roundabout take the first exit towards Dover A2.
- Go straight over the traffic lights leading to New Dover Road.
- Ebury Hotel is situated on the left after 500 metres.
From Dover:
- Take the A2 towards London.
- Exit at Canterbury onto the A2050 leading directly onto New Dover Road.
- At the roundabout take the second exit marked City Centre.
- Ebury Hotel is situated on the right-hand side after one mile.
From London:
- Take the A2 towards Dover.
- Turn off at Canterbury, following signs to Dover.
- Continue through 4 roundabouts, turning right at the St. George roundabout signposted Dover A2.
- Go straight over the traffic lights leading to New Dover Road.
- Ebury Hotel is situated on the left after 500 metres.
From Margate:
- Take the A28 towards Canterbury approaching City Centre along city walls to the St. George roundabout.
- Take the first exit towards Dover A2.
- Then as above.
London is only 90 minutes from Canterbury by train, from Canterbury East or West Stations.
The port of Dover is 20 Minutes away from our hotel, where you can access trips to Calais, or Boulogne.
Ashford International Station is 20 minutes away with destination such as Paris, Amsterdam and Brussels.
Restaurants
Jean-Pierre, the French chef, has devised both a 2-course and a 3-course menu with many interesting and varied dishes. All produce is sourced locally, and dishes are freshly prepared.
Please note that the restaurant is closed on Sunday evenings.
