Situated in a peaceful tree-lined road, this recently refurbished B&B, upgraded to 4-diamonds, boasts a privileged position in the heart of Torquay, only a 5 minute walk away from the seafront.
The Glendower?s central position provides easy access to the area?s main attractions, including the Riviera Conference Centre (300 metres), the town centre, which is filled with cafès, pubs, restaurants and shops, the palm-lined promenade and the new Helium Balloon. The train station is also found nearby, enabling you to explore the beautiful Devon region.
Standing within its own ground, the hotel comprises of 3 floors, including comfortable bedrooms, a dining room, bar, guest lounge, kitchen and patio.
Transport
Directions to glendower hotel from m5 (north): 1. Follow signs for Torquay until you see HALFORDS. 2. Move into the right hand lane and go through the lights. 3. Drive straight across the next set of lights. 4. At the next lights turn sharp left into Falkland Road. 5. We are the first major building (100m) on the left. In the summer the trees may conceal the hotel. You may park either to the front or right of the hotel. Parking is also available on the road opposite the hotel where there are no parking restrictions.
Restaurants
The hotel serves a full English breakfast, using local products where available. They produce all their own bread and also provide a range of homemade yogurts.
