High Trees B&B is a chalet-style house in Takely village, just 1.5 miles from Stansted Airport. The house is quiet as it is well away from the flight path.
Buses to Stansted Aiport pass the house regularly and High Trees can arrange long-term parking on request.
High Trees offers traditional bed and breakfast accommodation. Each room has a TV and some have en suite bathrooms. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
A full English breakfast with homemade bread and jams is available and a continental breakfast in the room can be arranged for those with early departures.
Takeley is a small village with two pubs which offer food. Both Cambridge and London are within 40 minutes drive and are easily accessible by train.
Surrounding Area
High Trees is set in the village of Takeley. We are mid-way between London and Cambridge both reached easily by train or bus from Stansted airport. Locally we have the beautiful ancient Hatfield Forest which is well worth exploring. Takeley has three shops and two pubs.
Restaurants
Full English or continental breakfast is available between 07:00 and 09:00. It will include fresh homemade bread and homemade jam and marmalade. Those leaving before 07:00 can have a breakfast tray in their room.
Evening meals can be arranged, if High Tress are told in advance.
The Local pub has good food served in the bar and is just 2 minutes' walk from the B&B.
