Set within Cairngorm National Park, the Highlander Hotel is a scenic base for touring the north of Scotland, close to mountain ranges, forests, lochs and river valleys.
The Highlander is situated in the picturesque village of Newtonmore in the Scottish Highlands, with access to skiing, hiking and climbing. Loch Ness, Ben Nevis and Balmoral are all easily reached on a day trip.
Highlander Hotel features an on-site restaurant, serving a varied menu and local produce. The well-stocked bar offers a selection of local malt whiskies.
The hotel has a garden and free on-site parking, and also features a TV lounge. Rooms are all en suite and wireless internet access is available.

By Car:
From Glasgow:
- Take the M80 to Stirling.
- Then take the A9 to Perth.
From Edinburgh
- Take the M90 to Perth.
From Perth:
- Take the A9 north towards Inverness.
- From the A9 take the slip road to Newtonmore, A86.
Restaurants
The restaurant can seat up to 150 people comfortably. There is a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and views over woodland. The restaurant doubles as our function room and a highlight is our Highland Night where you can enjoy a 5-course meal including address to the haggis, piping, Highland dancing and a ceilidh to finish off the evening.
