Ely Lamb Hotel

Sitting in the shadows of Ely Cathedral, Lamb Hotel dates back to the 15th century and retains its atmosphere as a thriving coaching inn.

The Lamb boasts 31 comfortable en-suite rooms. Meals and drinks are served all day in the bar and restaurant. Traditional beers, wines, spirits and teas and coffees are available.

The Lamb Hotel's history dates back to the time of King Richard II. Ely has old streets and medieval gateways, timbered houses and parkland stretching down to the River Great Ouse.

Cambridge is nearby, and Newmarket, famous for horse racing, is 12 miles (19 km) away.

Transport

From the A10: head for the city centre, when approaching the hotel turn left at the traffic lights, drive alongside the hotel until the next traffic lights and turn right.
Pass the police station and turn right again at the following traffic lights.
Follow the road around, the entrance to the car park is on the left past the last bus stop (Market Street).

Please note that there is limited parking and it is on first come first served basis. However, parking is available in the town.

Guests should be aware that The Lamb does not have ground-floor rooms or a lift.
