The Langtry Manor Hotel has been called the ?best hotel in Bournemouth? by the Guardian newspaper. Set in its own quiet gardens, it was built by King Edward VII in 1877 for his mistress, Lillie Langtry.
Each room has contemporary décor, and has been individually styled by designers Portfolio London. Rooms also have a personal bar, hairdryer and flat-screen TV. Some are located in Langtry Lodge, Lord Derby's former home, just 50 metres from the Manor.
Langtry's restaurant has an AA Rosette and offers a 6-course Edwardian banquet every Saturday. It is lit by chandeliers, and has an original fireplace for the colder months.

The main building is accompanied by Lord Derby's home, the Langtry Lodge (where rooms are also allocated) situated 50 yards away. Breakfast is taken in the main building.

From the London direction:
- M25 to M3 to M27 to A31 to A338 (Bournemouth).
- Take the first exit at St Paul's roundabout (by train station and Asda).
- Go straight over the next roundabout.
- Take the first left into Knyveton Road.
- Langtry Manor is on the opposite corner of Derby Road, by the mini roundabout.
Langtry Manor is within easy reach of Bournemouth Train and Coach Station, and Bournemouth Airport.

Langtry's award winning restaurant is a firm favourite with locals in Bournemouth, receiving many accolades from local press. Set in the magnificent dining room with Minstrels Gallery, chandeliers and an inglenook fireplace; it has to be seen to be properly appreciated. There is a full 6 course Edwardian banquet every Saturday evening. The restaurant is AA Rosette awarded.
