This family-run hotel is in quiet gardens, 700 metres from the seafront and with views across the bay. It has free parking, a bar, a seasonal outdoor pool and en suite rooms.
The Nethway Hotel is a short walk from the beach, the harbour and the shops. There are also regular buses to the town centre and to the village of Cockington during the summer season.
The light rooms have heating, TVs and tea/coffee. Some have sea views and balconies.
A full English breakfast is served from 08:30 to 09:45, with lighter continental options also available. There is also a cosy bar and outdoor terrace, with wonderful views across Torbay.

Bus services into the town centre run from directly outside the hotel and during the summer season, a service also runs to the village of Cockington.

The views across the bay towards the English Channel are stunning and Torquay is also an ideal base from which to visit Dartmouth, Totnes, Exeter and Plymouth.

Transport
By Car (from the Penn Inn roundabout at Newton Abbot):
- Take the exit onto Torquay Road and continue through the town of Kingskerswell.
- At the roundabout, continue straight ahead onto Riviera Way.
- Bear right at Newton Road (next to Torre train station) and continue onto Avenue Road.
- Take a sharp turn onto Falkland Road and the Nethway Hotel can be found on the right-hand side.
Restaurants
Breakfast is normally served between 08:30 and 09:15, but an earlier time can be provided if you need to make an early start. A 4-course evening meal is served at 18:30, with traditional English home cooking available at a reasonable price.
The hotel prides itself on providing a tasty, varied menu using local produce wherever possible. Those with special dietary needs or allergies can be accommodated by prior request.
