A warm welcome awaits you at this family run Victorian guest house. Just 500 metres from the Riviera Conference Centre, guests are 10 minutes' walk from the beach, train and bus stations.
Built in 1861, the Newburgh has been updated without losing its historical charm. En suite rooms at the Newburgh each feature a TV with Freeview channels. Early wake-up calls and newspapers can be arranged.
All of the guest house?s traditional English breakfasts are cooked freshly while you wait.
Guests at the Newburgh are well-located in the conservation area of Belgravia. Torquay?s selection of cafes, restaurants and pubs are just a few minutes' stroll away.
The Newburgh Guest House is family run and your hosts, Nigel and Lynne, offer you a very warm welcome to their friendly, informal guest house, your home from home in Torquay
The pictures shown of the Newburgh are all up to date, although the planted area at the front is constantly being improved.
For a special occasion of any kind, a welcoming bouquet of flowers can be arranged. As the Newburgh is a family-run guest house it does not accept bookings from stag or hen parties, or from same sex groups of more than 2.
Ideally located in a quiet road directly off Belgrave Road at the seafront end, you will find the Newburgh nestled in a short terrace of early Victorian properties (built in 1861).
The guest house is approximately 280 metres from the beach via a reasonably level walk; approximately 90 metres from the Riviera centre; and a few minutes more to the town and Torquay's fabulous harbour. The Newburgh is close to the train and coach station.
Dartmoor and the beautiful South Devon coastline are there to be discovered, a few minutes away by car.
From the guest house you will enjoy one of the most advantageous positions in Torquay, set away from the hubbub created by one of the most successful resorts in Europe. Remember that Torquay is often better seen out of main season, and has lots to offer.
