Great Yarmouth has over 15 miles of sandy beach, from Winterton-on-Sea in the north to Hopton-on-Sea in the south. The picturesque coastline has wide sandy beaches, sand dunes and cliffs. Great Yarmouth has plenty of entertainment along the seafront.
The beautiful Norfolk countryside features traditional old windmills, wind pumps and the cruisers on the rivers. Great Yarmouth is a good base from which to explore the Norfolk Broads.
Transport
By Car
- Take the A47 for Norwich, or the A12 (approximately 2 hours from London, and 30 minutes from Norwich).
- Once you have reached Great Yarmouth, follow signs for the seafront. If the sea is on your right-hand side, then you need to follow the road northwards until you reach the cinema. We are the cream building with black steps on the left hand side of the road, near the cinema.
- If you have come to the seafront via Euston Road, you will come to a roundabout with a car park in front of you and a nightclub called The Residence Bar on your right.
- Turn right at the roundabout and keep in the right-hand lane. This lane then curves to your right and comes to a give-way junction opposite Princes Road.
- Turn right here and we are the cream building just on your left. There is on-street parking on the main road or in Princes Road or Paget Road between 18:00 and 08:00.
- During the day this is a permit-parking area. There are car parks along the sea front.
By Bus:
The bus station is located in the centre of town and approximately 10 minutes on foot from the hotel. The X1 comes from Peterborough via Norwich.
By Train:
The main railway station is Vauxhall, on the outskirts of Great Yarmouth. The station is approximately one mile from the hotel. A taxi should take about 10 minutes.
By Air:
The nearest international airport is Norwich (NWI).

Important
Limited on-street parking is available outside the front of the property. It is free from October to April, but charged (from 08:00 to 18:00) at other times.
Due to the layout of the building there is no lift and no ground-floor rooms. Access into the property is via steps.
