Hotel Information
The Old Manse Hotel was built for the Baptist minister, Benjamin Beddome, in 1748. It was a gift from the locals so that he would not be tempted away to work in London or Bristol.
For guests' comfort, the whole building is now non-smoking. This includes the bar area and all rooms.
Surrounding Area
Bourton-On-The-Water is a beautiful, traditional Cotswold village. The River Windrush, which is just a few inches deep, flows right through the village and is a favourite with children during the summer months.
The village attractions include the model village; Birdland; the maze (good fun for all ages); the motor museum, which is a must-visit; and the monthly farmers' market. Bourton is an ideal base from which to visit the rest of the Cotswolds, and beautiful Stratford Upon Avon is just half an hour away by car.

- Follow signs to the town centre.
- The hotel is on the river bank, opposite the war memorial.

Please note that the hotel does not have an elevator and there are no ground-floor rooms.
