Transport
From London take junction 8 off the m40 onto the a40 to Oxford. At the Headington roundabout take the first exit on to the a40 Ring Road to Cowley. This becomes the a4142. Carry on past the bmw works and over the flyover. At the next roundabout (with lights) turn left, signposted Littlemore. Road is called Oxford Road, stay on this road for 1 mile, the hotel is on the right. From the North, take junction 9 off the M40. Continue along the A34 towards Oxford before taking the M40 / A423 / A4074 exit. Keep left at roundabout and follow A4074 to Sandford. At the end of the slip road, follow signs on roundabout to Sandford, at Henley Road junction take a right and the Hotel is another 1/2 a mile on the left.

The River Room Restaurant has picturesque views of the River Thames and St John's Barge. The restaurant offers an à la carte menu and the comprehensive wine list offers a selection of fine wines to complement your meal.
The hotel's comfortable medieval lounge houses a 2-tier Gallery Bar. In the warmer weather, you can also dine in one of the 2 beautiful courtyards.
Please note that on Friday and Saturdays in December, the main restaurant is closed due to large functions. Food is available in the lounge area or from room service on these occasions.
