Please follow directions to the Central Railway Station which is signposted in the city and is adjacent to the Royal Station Hotel. Within easy access from the A1.
Heading northbound on the A1 Continue on thre A1 Blayton Bridge (West Bypass). After 2.6 miles turn left to join the A184 (signposted Newcastle, Gateshead). Take the right hand lane to join the A189 and then cross. Continue straight over the Redheugh Bridge (signposted City Centre) until you reach the Wakenshaw V.C. Junction and at traffic signals continue forward. At Hadrian's Wall Junction at the traffic signals turn right and join the A186 (signposted City Centre (South), A167(M) In 0.3 mile keep forward (signposted Motorway A167(M) In 0.1 mile at traffic signals forward and in 0.2 mile turn left (one-way) then right to pass. You have reached Newcastle Central Station which is adjacent to the hotel.
Heading southbound on the A1 Continue straight onto the roundabout direction [B1318] City (North), [A1056] Gosforth, Wide Open. After 465 yards take the 2nd Exit off the roundabout into the B1318 (Great North Road). Continue straight into the B1307 (Barras Bridge). Turn left into the A186 (Westgate Road). Turn right into the A6115 (Neville Street). The Royal Station Hotel is adjacent to Newcastle Central Station and can be found on your right.
