This 200 year old farmhouse is set amidst beautiful countryside on a dairy farm, just off the A303 and Ilminster, near Chard.
Guests have sole use of the guest lounge, with a cosy log fire. A hearty farmhouse breakfast awaits, using the farm?s own fresh eggs and meat.
You'll be welcome to wander around the mature gardens, watch the cows being milked, or even help feed calves.

Shave Farm is just 5 minutes from the A303 at Ilminster, 10 minutes from the M5 and Taunton, and just 30 minutes from the Jurassic Coast of Lyme Regis and Charmouth, making it an ideal base or stop over point.
Transport
By Car:
- From junction 25 of the M5, take the A358 to Ilminster, Chard.
- At the Ilminster roundabout, take the 4th exit signed Donyatt, Chard. This is still the A358.
- Go past Horton, Broadway, turning on the right over the A303 and into the village of Donyatt.
- Take your 1st right into Donyatt Hill past the houses and into the no through road.
- Past the farm on the left you will find Shave Farm down on the right-hand side. Pass the farm and you will end up at the end of the no through road.
- Shave farm is signed from the A358 in Donyatt.
From the A303 (southbound):
- Take the 3rd exit at the Ilminster roundabout, Northbound.
- Take the 1st exit, then follow the directions above.

Shave Farm is a working farm and it is asked that children are supervised by an adult at all times.
