Surrounding Area
Mumbles (surrounding area) - Enjoy an excellent ice cream from one of the many parlours, explore craft shops, play a round of crazy golf and see the famous Mumbles lifeboat station and lighthouse.
Bracelet Bay (5 minutes' drive from Mumbles) - Explore the rock pools of this largely pebbled beach. Climb a nearby hill for fantastic views over the bay; on a clear day you can see as far as Devon.
Swansea (7.5 km) - Explore the city's museums and galleries, and see the castle ruins in the city centre.
Gower Peninsula (west of the hotel) - This was the first area in Britain to be designated an 'area of outstanding natural beauty'. The scenery is stunning, and ranges from sandy beaches, hidden coves and lush countryside. In total there are 7 medieval castles to explore.

By Car
From the M4 motorway, junction 42:
- Follow the A483 to the city of Swansea.
- After crossing the River Tawe bridge and Sainsbury's on your left, carry straight on for a further 3 miles (5 km) around the curve of Swansea Bay.
- After this, enter Mumbles and you will see a sign saying ?Welcome to Mumbles'.
- Carry straight on for a further mile (1.6 km) or so, until you see a children's play area on your left. The hotel is situated on the right-hand side.
