All bedrooms are upstairs, and there are another 16 steps (rise 20 cm; tread 26 cm) to the first floor. There are handrails on all stairways. The hotel does not have a lift.
Heavy Luggage:
The hotel does not have a facility for carrying luggage. The hotel is happy to care for heavy luggage downstairs and suggests an overnight bag for short stays.

There is plenty to see and do in the surrounding area: walk on the famous white cliffs of Dover; smell the clean, fresh sea air; spend a day at Dover Castle and explore the secret wartime tunnels. You could also visit the Dover museum?s bronze-age ship (the oldest seagoing boat in the world), the unused Napoleonic Fortress, the Roman Painted House, the Viking Trail and a Templar church ruin.
