By Car:
From North or South:
- Take the M6.
- Exit at junction 36.
- Follow signs to the South Lakes and Kendal. This road is the A590/A591.
- Follow the A591 to Windermere and then signs to the town centre.
- Drive through the village towards Bowness and the lake. This road is 'New Road'.
- After around 800 metres, there is a Catholic church on the left. St John's Lodge is approximately 90 metres on the left-hand side (If you reach the police station or the lake then you have gone too far).

St John's Lodge is the food lover's choice, it probably offers the largest selection of breakfast menu in the area, from a touring visitor?s point of view, or if you prefer healthier alternatives, this is a refreshing change.
