Transport
By Car:
From the M6:
- Take junction 36 and travel along the A65, following signs for Kirkby Lonsdale.
- After 8 km (5 miles) take the left turn signposted for Kirkby Lonsdale Town Centre.
- Go down the road to the junction and then go straight ahead down the hill.
- At the bottom turn right and the Sun Inn is on your left hand side.
Parking:
All parking in the centre of Kirkby Lonsdale is either in the public car park (free between 18:00 and 09:00) or street-side, both just 2 minutes walk away from the inn. You can stop outside the inn to drop off luggage and we will direct you to the parking area.
By Train:
The nearest mainline station is Oxenholme (16 km / 10 miles), which is on the London to Glasgow/Edinburgh line. A taxi would be the easiest method of reaching the hotel from this point.
