By Car
From junction 40 (Penrith) of the M6 motorway:
- Follow signs for the A66 towards Appleby, Brough and Scotch Corner.
- Temple Sowerby is within a 10 minute drive of the motorway.
- Follow the hotel signs off the Temple Sowerby bypass.
- From Scotch Corner (A1), take the A66.
- 7 miles past Appleby, follow the signs from the bypass.
Restaurants
The restaurant, awarded 2 AA Rosettes features sandstone columns framing picture windows overlooking the lovely walled garden. Menus are created monthly using the freshest, local seasonal ingredients, including herbs and fruits from the garden.
