The hotel's restaurant has award-winning food and special diets can always be catered for. The hotel has several ground-floor rooms, one of which will accommodate a wheelchair.

The Gold Rill's position in the Lake District makes it the ideal place from which to explore the breathtaking scenery and fascinating attractions. Enjoy an afternoon's fell-walking on Fairfields Horseshoe, one of Wainwright?s classic walks, which can be seen from the hotel.

Delicious dishes from the traditional to the more unusual are all created from the best fresh, local produce and special diets can always be catered for. For the comfort of other diners, the hotel requests that children under 5 years do not dine in the restaurant in the evening.

Please be aware that if the main hotel is fully booked, a room will be reserved for you in Rillside Lodge which is located in the same grounds. The Lodge is situated just 50 yards from the main hotel reception with its own private parking and can be accessed via the hotel gardens on foot or via the road running alongside the hotel by car. The only difference between the lodge and the hotel is that guests come across to the hotel for meals.
