This friendly family- run bed and breakfast is situated 3 minutes' level walk from Paignton's sandy beach and town centre, and 5 minutes' walk from the bus and train station.

The world-famous Paignton Zoo and Quaywest Water Park are just 20 minutes' walk away. Also nearby are pitch'n'put, trampolining and Victoria Park where you can enjoy a quiet stroll or jog around the lake. For children, there is a play park, skate park and tennis courts.
There is also an Apollo Cinema on the esplanade and Paignton theatre within walking distance.

Transport
By Car:
- Follow the M5 motorway to Exeter, then the A38 and A380 dual carriageway connection to Newton Abbott.
- Head for the seafront, then turn right along the A379 towards Paignton.
- Turn left towards Paignton seafront.
- Beach Road is located opposite the beach green, after the second set of traffic lights.
By Rail:
- Paignton train station is 5 minutes walk from the Haldon Guest House.
- From the station head towards the seafront.
- Turn left at Grand Central Pub, then third right at Beach Road - the guest house is number 6.
By Air:
- Both Exeter and Plymouth airports are just 40 minutes drive from Paignton.
- A taxi service can be arranged.
Restaurants
All local produce is used for breakfast. We believe in the saying that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and you can be sure that we will not be frugal on quantity or quality. You can select coffee or tea, brown or white toast, a full English breakfast or a variation, and help yourself to cereals, juices, yoghurt and fruit. Breakfast is served daily, in the dining room.

There is a choice of restaurants, pubs and takeaways close by.
