The House at Woolverton boasts unique decor inspired by one of the owners who travelled to India, Africa and the Caribbean.

The 14 spacious guest rooms all feature luxury beds, large flat-screen TVs and mini bars. The rooms' unique style provides pegs instead of wardrobes and there are tea and coffee stations are on each floor.

Breakfast, either in the conservatory or in the garden, is relaxed, with no time scale set for guests.

Hotel Information

Occupying a privileged position between the Roman City of Bath and Longleat Safari Park, this quirky privately-owned house is set within stunning grounds in the beautiful Somerset countryside.

With a unique and interesting décor, The House features reclaimed wood furniture from the Far East which stays in keeping with the style of the building. The 15 double bedrooms are equally quirky so expect pegs instead of wardrobes. In the kitchen, French chef, Rush Zegaoui, puts his mark on the conservatory bistro with Mediterranean influenced dishes.

The House provides the ideal base from which to explore the surrounding area which includes attractions such as Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Stonehenge, Wells and Glastonbury. A bus immediately outside the house goes to Bath and Frome whilst the towns of Westbury, Trowbridge, Warminster and Bradford-on-Avon are all nearby.

Transport

Please note that for May, June and July 2008 substantial roadworks are being carried out on the A36 so the road is closed at Limply Stoke. During this period, access to the hotel from the north would be via Midford and Norton St Philip. This makes no difference to the time of journey as this is usually an alternative route anyway.

Restaurants

A continental buffet breakfast is included in the room rate, although cooked is also available at extra charge. Tea and coffee stations are situated on each floor.

Important

Please call the hotel directly if bookings include children as not all rooms are equipped to take extra beds.
