This privately-run coach touring hotel offers efficient and friendly service in a quiet location just off the seafront, where you can capture views of the bay from the terrace.
Under new management and offering good service, this hotel is a real home from home. Some rooms have sea views (no extra charge, subject to availability) and all have en suite facilities.
The hotel offers an all-inclusive rate which includes a free bar between 20.00 and 22.00 for selected beers, wines and house spirits (single measures only). Please see the Important Information section for more details.
Located across the water from Cardiff, it takes approximately 2 hours by car or train to get to Millennium Stadium. Please be aware that if you arrive after 18:00, you must check-in at the bar area. Reception opening times are 09:00 to 17:00.
Hotel Information
On an elevated position, around the corner from Weston seafront, the hotel has a welcoming reception area and licensed bar with dance floor. In-house entertainment is offered 3 evenings per week, with live music 4 evenings per week (dependent on season) and is free to hotel guests.
Surrounding Area
We are located yards from Weston seafront and a leisurely 15 minutes from Weston Town Centre. Panoramic views of the Severn Estuary and Weston Woods are but a stone's throw away.
We are a great stopover destination for Cardiff's Millennium Stadium, but please be aware that you will need to re-join the motorway and the journey can take up to 2 hours during busy times.
Transport
Exit the M5 at junction 21, following signs for Weston-Super-Mare and the Seafront. You will then notice signs for "Sand Bay". Turn right (ensuring the sea is on your LEFT), pass the pier and conitnue for 3/4 mile until you arrive at the Claremont Vaults Pub (first building on the seafront.) Make an immediate right turn into Madiera Road. The hotel is located 1/3 of the way up this hill, on the right-hand side.
Restaurants
Both our breakfast and table d'hôte evening meals are home cooked, not pre-prepared. As such, our eating times are relaxed and we ask that guests appreciate this when being served.
Breakfast is served 08:00 to 09:00 during midweek and from 08:30 to 09:30 at weekends. The evening menu is available from 18:00 to 18:30.

An 'all inclusive' option, which includes free drinks from the bar between 20.00 and 22:00 on selected products, is an extra GBP 15 per person per night, on top of the room rate. The 'all inclusive' option is only available 'in season' (generally Easter - September).
