| Mount Edgcombe is a short stroll from the water's edge and boasts a spacious free car park. Being in such a convenient location, you can leave your car behind and explore the true Torquay. The Mount Edgcombe is a 19th century detached Victorian villa, which is conveniently located just a short level walk to the water's edge from where you can wander along the seafront promenade towards the harbour. The train station and English Riviera Centre are just a few minutes walk away ,and a 15-minute walk will bring you to Castle Circus - the heart of Torquay's shopping area. We are a small privately run hotel and we pride ourselves on the service and attention we give our guests. The hotel boasts a fully licensed bar and optional evening meal. Please note we are an entirely non-smoking hotel and do not accept group bookings.

Breakfast is normally served from 08:30 to 09:15, but we are usually happy to provide earlier breakfasts if you need to make an early start.
We offer a wide choice on our breakfast menu, so that you can eat as much or as little as you like and as healthily (or not!) as you like.
All breakfasts are cooked freshly to order, using good quality, locally sourced produce.
Our 4-course evening meals are served at 18:30 and are bookable in advance or on a daily basis.
We use an excellent local butcher for our meat, fish from Brixham docks and fresh vegetables are bought daily in order to provide tasty home cooked meals.
Vegetarian options are available.
Our extremely varied dessert menu includes a wide selection of home baked favourites.
We are a strictly non-smoking hotel.
