With beautiful views of the coastline from the cliff top, the elegant Ocean View Hotel has an outdoor swimming pool and leafy gardens. Bournemouth?s vibrant town centre is 10 minutes' walk away.

The spacious bedrooms each have a private modern bathroom and tea and coffee-making facilities. All rooms have a TV, free Wi-Fi, and some feature spectacular sea views or a private balcony.

Guest can relax on the terrace beside the swimming pool, set within the gardens. The Ocean View?s restaurant offers a menu using fresh local ingredients, with classic cocktails on offer in the stylish bar.

The seafront hotel is directly above miles of golden sandy beach, accessed by pathways or the cliff-top lift (in summer only). Guests have free parking, and Bournemouth Railway Station is 1.2 miles away.

Hotel Information

All 52 of our rooms are ensuite, some boasting sea views and balconies. For those wishing to relax outside our outdoor heated swimming pool (april-Sept) in our sunken landscaped gardens is an ideal place to enjoy the sunshine.

There is a games room at our sister hotel for the young at heart with skittles alley, pool table, darts, giant jenga and giant connect 4.

Evening entertainment is available on most nights throughout the year in our ballroom

Surrounding Area

Bournemouth is an ideal base for visiting the surrounding areas. The Jurassic coast, Purbeck Hills and New Forest are know for their outstanding natural beauty. The Isle of Wight is just a short trip on the ferry from Lymington or in the summer boats go from Bournemouth pier. Whilst Brownsea Island (made famous by Baden Powell as the first ever scout camp), The Bovington Tank Museum and (as seen on TV) Monkey World are only a short distance away.

The Ocean View Hotel is located on the prestigious East Cliff of town, just ten minutes walk to the Town's bustling centre and award winning gardens. We are located directly above the miles of golden sandy beaches which are accessed either by zig-zag pathways or cliff top lift (summer months only)

There are extensive road, rail and air links with Bournemouth International Airport only 10km away and Bournemouth Interchange (for Rail and Coach links) 2km away.
