Set in 7 hilltop acres with views over open countryside, The Pines at Eastleigh is an award-winning Georgian country house bed and breakfast. Guests can enjoy log fires, king-size beds, and freshly prepared food.
Breakfast is served in the drawing room with its log fire and beautiful view from Hartland Point to Lundy Island. Food is freshly prepared using home-produced and locally sourced ingredients. Breakfast includes fruit from the garden, home-made yoghurt and prize-winning local meats.
Rooms are both in the main house and at ground floor level around the peaceful courtyard garden. They all have an en suite bathroom and tea/coffee making facilities.
The ancient port of Bideford, the fishing village of Appledore, and the sweeping beach at Westward Ho are all a 10-minute drive away from The Pines.
Guests can relax in the garden room bar, which features its own library with a variety of maps.
Staff can help guests organise cycling on the Tarka Trail, cliff walking, surfing, canoeing and other water sports. Friendly advice can also be given on where to eat and drink in the area.

There is a different beach for each day of your holiday within easy reach, as well as Dartmoor and Exmoor to explore, the beautiful gardens at RHS Rosemoor and Tapeley Park and the fishing villages of Clovelly and Appledore.
With its magnificent coast, moorland and rolling farmland, the diversity of landscapes within this unique area combine to offer visitors to the area an almost limitless range of activities to enjoy while on holiday. North Devon has over 850 square miles of some of England's finest coast and countryside. The Pines at Eastleigh is centrally located in this unique environment. From the hotel, there are many walks along quiet lanes and footpaths with fine views. The interesting ancient port of Bideford, the fishing village of Appledore, the estuary at Instow and the sweeping beach at Westward Ho! are only a few minutes' drive away. Clovelly, Tintagel, Lynton, Exmoor and Dartmoor are within an hour's drive. Golf, cycle hire, water sports (notably surfing) and horse riding are within easy reach.

Transport
Car: Well connected, North Devon can be approached by road from the M5 Junction 27. The new North Devon link road the A361 takes you directly into the centre of North Devon. At the new Torridge Bridge on the A39, take the A386 south (signed East-the-Water) and watch for signs to Eastleigh in half a mile. Turn left on to this new road and take the first left on to an unclassified road signposted Eastleigh. This climbs for 2 miles, and The Pines is on the brow of the hill, the first house on the right entering the village. Rail: Central London is just 2 hours away if you use the Intercity rail links which serve Tiverton and Exeter. Air: London Heathrow is approximately 3 hours by road. There are also regional airports at at Bristol and Exeter.

Breakfast is served in the drawing room, where a log fire burns on dewy early mornings. The view from the window stretches from Hartland Point to Lundy Island, over the little white town of Bideford. Breakfast is freshly prepared using home-produced and locally sourced ingredients, including fruit from the garden, homemade yoghurt and prize-winning local meats. Those with special dietary needs can be accommodated by prior request.
