The Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces Museum (4 miles / 6.5 km) - featuring the only original examples of cockpits from World War II gliders and the most complete history of Airborne Forces and the Parachute Regiment in the UK.
Birdworld (4.7 miles / 7.5 km) - set in 26 acres of gardens and parkland with an impressive collection of birds. Attractions include seashore and tropical style walks, parrot aviary, heron theatre and penguin feeding. Alligators, tropical freshwater and marine fish can all be seen in the Aquarium.
Transport
By car:
- Take the A31 to Guildford.
- Exit via the sliproad signposted to Runfold.
- Continue to follow the Runfold signs and continue over a bridge until you reach a T-junction.
- Turn right, and the Princess Royal Lodge is just ahead.
