The location of the Ravenswood Hotel is superb, being adjacent to Torquay Museum and on the Agatha Christie Mile. A short walk of 400 metres takes you to the harbour, with its boats, restaurants, shops and Pavilion, or to the central shopping area in Fleet Street and Torquay's nightlife and theatres. Also within a 400 metre radius are over 30 pubs, cafes and restaurants, so you will be spoilt for choice when selecting something to eat. Torquay's blue flag award beaches are but a short walk away, and for the energetic, the south west coast path is a great place to walk and take in the scenery.

The nearest motorway is the M5.
- On reaching Torquay, follow signs for the harbour.
- Once at the harbour, turn left at the roundabout by Debenhams, into Torwood Street (signposted A379 Babbacombe). The hotel is 400 metres further on the left hand side.

Torquay railway station is 1.8 km away.

Torquay coach station is 2.5 km away.

Breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking Torwood Gardens. Guests can help themselves from our buffet, which includes a choice of cereals, orange juice, fruit, yogurt and toast. This is followed by a choice of a cooked breakfast.

Please note that no group booking (2 or more rooms) will be allowed unless the hotel has agreed to it. Same-sex group bookings are not permitted in the hotel (hen and stag nights).
Unloading and limited parking is available to the rear of the hotel (access from Museum Road). Additional parking is available in the nearest pay and display car park (150 m) for which passes are available for guests at weekends and throughout the summer season. There is also plenty of free on-street parking, unlimited from 16:00 to 10:00 in front of the hotel.
