Amid its own spacious grounds, an easy walk from the seafront, this renovated Victorian hotel boasts an array of leisure amenities.

Comfortable, en suite accommodation is complemented by 2 popular restaurants. When not treating yourself to the English and European bistro restaurant (Viceroys), you could also try the Indian Bollywood restaurant, with food cooked by North and Eastern Indian chefs. Alternatively, you could simply choose to relax in the comfortable lounge-bar area.

During the day, stroll across to the seafront, promenade, clock tower or town centre and take advantage of this traditional seaside resort.

Hotel Information

The Colonial bar and lounge is a spacious, open-plan area serving a variety of alcoholic drinks, speciality teas and coffees, light snacks and lounge food.

Adjacent the more secluded club bar area and a separate traditional games room offering full sized pool table, darts, cards and wide-screen television.

The hotel has two restaurants, one being the Bollywood bar and grill serving genuine Indian cuisine in a relaxed brasserie style atmosphere with its own bar area.

The second restaurant is Viceroys bistro restaurant offering English bistro style food, grill menu and steak selection.

Conferences, weddings, birthday parties, christenings and private parties and dinners can all be accommodated in the private ballroom, the Royal Garden Suite.

Surrounding Area

Skegness Pleasure Beach (800 m) - the pleasure beach offers all the tourist attractions of a theme park; with an amusement arcade, exciting fairgrounds and much more.

Church Farm Museum (1.3 miles / 2 km) - Lincolnshire's only open air museum, this small village style attraction features several working exhibits, including a blacksmith, traction engine, cowshed, stable, wash-house, cottage, barn and orchard.

National Parrot Sanctuary (12 miles / 19 km) - Set 5 acres of landscaped gardens, the sanctuary is home to over 1000 resident birds.

Transport

By car:
- Travel into Skegness via the A158 or A52.
- Drive down Lumley Road towards the seafront.
- Turn right just before the clock tower roundabout into Drummond Road.
- The hotel is 500 yards (450 metres) on the left-hand side of the road.

- Alternatively, travel to the very end of South Parade on the sea front. The hotel is located at the end of the road.

Parking:
The hotel has a car park at both of its entrances. Each is free to use for guests of the hotel.

Restaurants

The hotel offers 2 restaurants:
The Bollywood Bar and Grill serves Indian food 7 nights a week, from 17:00-23:30.

Viceroys Grill and Bistro is open lunch and dinner 7 days a week, from 12:00-14:15 lunchtime and 19:15-21:45 each evening.

Each Sunday a traditional Sunday lunch is served from 12:15-14:30. There is also an offer of a rump steak and wine special each Sunday evening in Viceroys.

Light bites and sandwiches are available in the Colonial lounge and bar area.
