Located on level ground in the heart of Newquay, this friendly guest house is a short stroll from the harbour and 7 fine sandy beaches.
The cosy, family-run guest house is dedicated to guest comfort and wellbeing.
The restaurant and bar/lounge are on the ground floor and every effort is made to source locally produced food. A 3-course set evening menu is available mid-May to mid-September only. There is a fruit basket at reception.
All rooms have a small fridge and an en suite shower and toilet.
The Silver Jubilee is near the rail and coach stations for day trips to Tintagel, Padstow, Eden Project and St.Ives. Many country-house gardens, zoos and attractions are nearby.

The Silver Jubilee, built with local granite as a private house in 1898, was renovated in 1977 to create 7 en suite, self-contained rooms, with a restaurant and bar/lounge on the ground floor.
To this day, it is a cosy, family-run establishment, dedicated to guest comfort and well being. Every wish is catered for and every request wherever possible met. Judith (who is Swiss) and Andrew (English) take great pride in welcoming new and regular guests.

Transport
The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the train station and 4 minutes from the bus station. The nearest airport is a 20 minute bus or taxi ride away.
By car:
- Take the A30.
- Join the A392 to Quintrell Downs roundabout and turn right into the A3058 Porth/Newquay road.
- Follow this road until you see the railway station on your left.
- Ahead is a set of traffic lights where you are forced to turn left, this is Berry Road; the hotel is the 4th building on the left, with Palm Trees outside.

The hotel operates a couples-only policy. This means no stag/hen or other groups.
During the main holiday period of mid July to September, the hotel operates a weekly minimum policy (7 nights), although this does not have to be a Saturday to Saturday.
