Completely refurbished in September 2004, The Yorkshire offers modern, contemporary facilities in the heart of Harrogate. We are in an ideal, central location for exploring this beautiful spa town, overlooking the Stray gardens.
In the autumn of 2004, the hotel was beautifully transformed from a typical Victorian hotel to one that is modern and contemporary, whilst retaining many of its original features. The transformation also includes the contemporary Hg1 Bar and Brasserie, a very popular venue with both our guests and local residents.
There are eighty en suite bedrooms including eight luxury suites, which include lounge furniture, complimentary mini bar, towelling robes, slippers, fresh fruit, chocolates and magazines. All our bedrooms have been refurbished to a high standard and offer comfort and style. The Yorkshire is perfectly situated in the heart of this beautiful spa town, with everything you need being in walking distance.
The train station is only a 3 minute walk away.
Transport
Travelling along the a61 from Leeds, take West Park. There you will find the Yorkshire Hotel, before the James Street junction (opposite Betty's tearooms).

Group booking Policy:
Reservations of 6 rooms or more where identified as the same party, will be classed as a group and different cancellation and payment policy applies. We also reserve the right to refuse bookings over 6 rooms or more in certain circumstances.
Cancellation Terms
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.
In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults stay free of charge for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2.
Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is not applicable.
Internet: Wireless internet is available in the hotel rooms and costs GBP 8.50 per hour.
Meal Plan: Full English breakfast is not included and costs GBP 12.95 per person.
